A 4 hr course designed to satisfy LSS Peat 2 requirements.
Course Aims
Demonstrate the importance of ethical behaviour for Scottish Solicitors
Outline the core values of professional practice and the interlinked nature of Conflict of Interest, Confidentiality and Anti Money Laundering Regulations
Illustrate the creation and enforcement of ethical issues and the roles of LSS, SLCC and SSDT
Course Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able on completion of the course to-
Identify and analyse ethical problems
Appreciate the prime interest of the client
Understand the sources and materials available in ethical decision making.
Show an awareness of the consequences of ethical failure.
