Notices are notorious. They are often relatively simple instructions but they can have incredible complexities and severe consequences if anything goes wrong!
There is a significant amount of case law on notices, and this session will cover the legal basics and recent case law as well as providing practical help and tips on how you can minimise risk when issuing notices.

Stephen is a Senior Associate in the dispute resolution and property litigation teams. Specialising in property disputes, he advises clients in both the public and private sectors on a wide range of contentious property issues including: lease disputes, irritancy, dilapidations disputes, title conditions, servitudes, travellers, and evictions.
He conducts litigation in the Sheriff Court, the Court of Session and the Lands Tribunal. He also has experience in alternative methods of dispute resolution including: arbitration, expert determination and mediation.
