As the world gets back on its feet following the Covid-19 pandemic, many Scots will seek to relocate for various reasons. Whilst that will not likely present a problem for those who remain in settled relationships, this seminar will look at the financial and child law difficulties affecting ex-pats who find their relationships have broken down.

Attendees can expect to leave the seminar with an understanding of:

  • The rules governing jurisdiction of cross border cases
  • How financial claims upon separation and divorce are determined
  • How child law issues are determined
  • The issues affecting those currently living in Scotland who wish to relocate overseas
