At some point, the Scottish Government is going to give the green light for businesses and venues to re-open and employers who shut down or reduced operations will be focussing their attention on their staff requirements and how to reopen their workplaces.  It’s unlikely that this will be a smooth process; the end of the furlough scheme and a realisation that, in some instances, work can be undertaken by fewer employers, will see the loss of jobs. In addition, some employees are going to feel nervous about returning to the workplace while others will prefer, for a variety of reasons, to continue to work from home, if even for part of the working week. Employers will need to tackle issues including how to:

  • Make their workplaces covid-19 secure
  • Deal with employees who can’t or won’t return to the work~
  • Deal with changes to terms and conditions of employment
  • Tackle redundancies in the workplace
  • This seminar will provide practical guidance for solicitors on how to help clients navigate through these complex issues, and avoid the many risks which will arise during these extremely turbulent times.

The event begins at 2pm. Delegate registration is open from 1:30pm.
